Keito Events was again engaged by the City of Unley to manage the Unley Gourmet Gala 2013 for the Santos Tour Down Under. Approximately 20,000 people attended the event, which was a veritable culmination of gourmet food, wine, fashion and entertainment. Highlights included fashion parades featuring outfits by local traders, appearances by celebrity chefs Tobie Puttock (Melbourne) and Simon Bryant, musicians and dancers from Latino Grooves and interviews with world-class cyclists.

Carlton Draught AFL Launch – Staff Briefing

Keito Events was engaged to manage the concept design and event logistics for the Carlton Draught launch of the 2013 AFL Program staff briefing day. We designed the function rooms with astro turf and picket fencing, incorporated AFL elements and Carlton Draught branding to create a stimulating atmosphere for the Carlton & United Breweries staff. The event welcomed special guests Mark Ricciuto and the brand ambassadors from Adelaide Crows Football Club and Port Adelaide Football Club. The staff were involved in a rotation of briefing sessions throughout the day with a relaxed lunch break, a kick and catch with the players, followed by a gourmet BBQ dinner.

KPMG Sport Awards 2012

For the first year, Keito Events was selected to event manage the KPMG Sport Awards, working with Sport SA and partners Channel 7 and The Advertiser. The event, held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre, involved multiple award presentations with video packages created by Channel 7. Keito Events managed the running sheets, MCs, venue set up and worked very closely with Novatech on the important AV component of this high profile annual event. The night was a great success with all awards and formalities running very smoothly.

AIB Graduation 2012

The Australian Institute of Business’ (AIB’s) annual graduation was its biggest in Adelaide to-date, with Keito Events once again managing the event at the Adelaide Town Hall.

The event featured guest speakers and a private post-graduation dinner at Cos Restaurant, Leigh St.

Fantastic feedback was received from students about their involvement.

Rescue 2012 World Surf Life Saving Championships Opening Ceremony

Keito Events event managed the Opening Ceremony for the World Surf Life Saving Championships in Glenelg. The biggest challenge was staging the parade of 500 competitors and 200 “nippers” from Colley Reserve to Mosley Square. From managing the Kaurna welcome and choir performances to coordinating the logistics of set up with key suppliers, we worked closely with the Rescue 2012 team to plan what was a very successful Opening Ceremony of international standards which showcased Glenelg, SA and Australia.

AIB Alumni Event 2012 – with Roger Rasheed

The 90 guests were able to obtain a unique insight into some of Roger’s philosophies and his passion for tennis and success, followed by valuable networking overlooking Adelaide from the Crowne Plaza balcony.

Kingpin Norwood Launch 2012

Keito Events was engaged to stage the launch of Kingpin Norwood, a new bowling and entertainment venue on the former AMF bowling site. We secured celebrities to attend this event, a DJ and MC, an ice luge for cocktails, and many other event elements including a lolly bar for take home gifts. The event was a huge success with more than 200 people enjoying the new Kingpin experience.

Port Open Day 2012

Keito Events worked with Martins Integrated on an event for the SA Government to consult the public on future plans for Port Adelaide. The event featured Maritime Museum boats, local artists, musicians, dancers and local food stalls. The event was a great success attracting more than 4000 people throughout the day.

Adelaide AFL Grand Final Breakfast

ASMF AFL Grand Final Lunch

With a long list of program highlights and special guests, this year’s ASMF Grand Final Lunch with Channel 7 was one to remember. Jessica Mauboy wowed the crowd with her performance to kick off the event and Peter Everitt gave a very comic and moving speech. Guests also heard from an expert panel about the Grand Final as they enjoyed the fantastic hospitality at Adelaide Oval.
