Yarning Series at Southwark Grounds

Around 45 guests gathered at Southwark Grounds for a meaningful morning of storytelling, connection and shared learning as part of Renewal SA’s Yarning Series.

The event brought together local Elders and attendees to connect with the cultural history of the land, conversations flowing naturally through the yarning circle and continuing over catering under the marquee.

While it was a smaller event, there was significant planning behind the scenes to make it feel welcoming, comfortable and culturally respectful. Working closely with the Renewal SA team in the lead-up, including multiple site visits, allowed us to properly plan the layout and ensure all operational requirements were in place. As an active construction site, everything needed to create a safe and comfortable event space had to be hired in.

Flexibility on the day also mattered. Allowing the yarning circle layout to shift naturally created space for genuine discussion and participation throughout the morning.

Keito engaged specialist suppliers across outdoor flooring, marquee and AV to ensure everything was set up on time and ran smoothly, for the client and for everyone in attendance.

We were proud to support Renewal SA in bringing this series to life, and very pleased with the result.

“A HUGE thanks to you and Brianna for all your help on the day and in the lead up. We could not have done it without Keito!” Ellie Mayer, Senior Marketing Manager, Sales and Marketing, Renewal SA
