SA Mid Winter Ball 2022

The SA Mid Winter Ball 2022 was held on Friday 16th September at the Adelaide Oval. The annual Winter event was pushed back this year. So, we made the most of it and had a spring theme. Incorporating bright colours and lots of florals. A big thank you to sponsor China Shop Designs for bringing the theme to life.

The Keito team has worked with the Mid Winter Ball committee since 2015, and since COVID unfortunately cancelled the 2020 and 2021 Ball’s, it was great to be back working with the team and seeing another great night come together.

The SA Mid Winter Ball is a fundraising event for members of South Australia’s political parties, media organisations and a selection of corporate sponsors and in-kind sponsors who make the whole event possible. This off the record event brings usually opposing groups together in a united front to raise money for two local charities.

This year, the Mid Winter Ball supported HAS Foundation and The Village Co., two local charities doing incredible work in the community for ill children, and displaced mothers and newborn babies.

The 2022 Mid Winter Ball was a huge success raising significant and vital finds for the two charity partners.

Project management

Event theming

// We worked with all suppliers to ensure that the event needs were met

// We maintained an open line of communication with all suppliers

// We communicated all supplier requirements to the client and venue

Fundraising management

// We created an online raffle system using EventsAir

// We managed and tracked all raffle items

// We assisted with the live auction on site

// We managed the financial earnings of the event

Guest management

// We created an event registration page through EventsAir which captured all relevant information for the client

// We managed the registration process and worked to troubleshoot with guests

// We worked with the client when allocating tables

Onsite management

// We conducted a full rehearsal with the audio-visual team

// We worked closely with the venue for the duration of the event

// We managed the live auction

// We worked with all entertainment suppliers on the night

// We worked with the audio-visual team to cue all formalities

// We oversaw the bump in and out process

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the committee again and we can’t wait to bring it back in 2023.
