OZ Minerals Christmas in July Family Visit 2022

The Keito team worked with long term client OZ Minerals to bring together their Christmas in July Family Visit.

After the visit was previously postponed due to Covid, we were so glad to finally see the families and friends be able to attend the Prominent Hill site, see where their family member work and meet Santa along the way.

The one-day family visit included flying the family members up and back from the site, site tours, a Christmas lunch, and a visit from Santa.

The Keito team worked with the OZ Minerals team for the following event logistics.

Guest management

// We used the EventsAIR software to develop an expression of interest and registration platform.

// We developed the site so that when guests filled out an expression of interest, there were fields which captured all relevant information including ages and genders of children to make sure they received an appropriate Christmas gift from Santa. We also made sure to capture their departing location, to make the plane allocation process smooth.

// We managed the site for the duration of the registration process. We worked with the guests to troubleshoot any issues, make manual changes if required and answer any questions.

// We developed all communications and with client approval, sent out all confirmations, welcomes and information packages to the guests.

// We allocated the guests to a plane, working with OZ Minerals to ensure that all numbers were correct and allowed for additional staff to have a seat on the plane.

// We ensured that each child had an appropriate gift and coordinated for any consumables or additional gifts to go up on the site.

Project Planning

// The team worked with OZ Minerals to construct a detailed run sheet which included a breakdown of each room, what was in it and how it will be set up.

// The team conducted regular planning meetings with the OZ Minerals team to ensure that all deadlines were met.

We are so glad the families were able to visit their loved ones at their workplace and enjoy a Christmas celebration together.
